When I first started training with Eric, my goal was simple, to lose weight.  A year later, I’d accomplished so much more than that.  Not only did I lose inches, I gained both muscle and confidence while learning the proper nutrition needed to stay healthy.  My weight has always been something I’ve struggled with for one big reason; I didn’t know the best workout regimen for my body type.  The first thing Eric did when I began training with him was get to know me and my goals.  He wanted to know what my workouts had been like in the past and what had or had not worked for me.  Based on this information, he designed a workout program to help me reach my goals.   Before I knew it, I was fully dedicated to my fitness routine and looked forward to my workouts with Eric. Every time I met with him, he had new workouts and techniques for me to learn.  Not only was I getting a good workout, I was learning how to lift and workout.  Sooner than expected, the inches were falling off my body and I was feeling better and better about myself.

Another factor in my fitness transformation was my nutrition.  In the past, I would chose my meals based on taste, even though I knew I wasn’t always making the right choice.  Shortly after beginning my journey, Eric and I sat down to discuss my eating habits and how they influenced my progress and goals.  He explained to me not only what to eat, but when and how often to eat as well.  I can now confidently put together meals and know that I’m eating to be healthy and not eating just to eat.

Along with my weight loss came a huge boost in confidence both inside and outside the gym.  I used to be intimidated by the thought of walking into a weight room full of people.  Because of Eric, I’m no longer intimidated by the weight room of a gym and have the total confidence to walk into a crowded gym and complete a workout on my own.   I even became a licensed Zumba instructor and now share my fitness knowledge with the people in my class.  Outside of the gym, I used to be very subconscious about my body and always felt fearful that people were taking note of my size.  I now feel confident in myself and what my body looks like and no longer assume the worst when someone is looking in my direction.  My confidence level has soared and I love my new life.

One of the biggest reasons for my success was that Eric was always there when I needed him.  If I needed a pep talk, he was there to keep me going and focused.  Whether at work or home, he was always willing to take the time to answer my questions.  Eric truly supports his clients and their success is his number one goal.  He never once gave up on me or allowed me to give up on myself.  I’m proud to say I lost 24 inches from my body while training with Eric and I feel better than ever.  People regularly come up to me to tell me the difference they’ve noticed in me.  It’s a great feeling to know people notice your hard work.  Training with Eric changed my life, and for that I will be forever grateful.
